Waterdrops from the sky Chapter 7 ...
Tick tock tick tock .. Time is passing by and the month of Jan is ending . And my birthday will be reaching soon ...

"Mizuki - chan ! "
"Ohh , hi Chi-chan " I replied as turned and wave to Chi-chan .
"Where are you going after school ?" Chi-chan asked .
"No where . Why ?"
"There`s a new cafe nearby , do you want to go eat it with me ? Please ." Chi-chan begged .
Who in the world could say no to that adorable face ?
So i nodded , and agreed to go with her .
Anyways , it has been a long time since i`ve hanged out with Chi-chan .
-After school- .
While i walked along side with Chi-chan i asked , "Hey , why did you suddenly ask me to come along ?"
She turned to me , and turned back , saying nothing .
I became slightly curious .
Finally we`ve reached . The newly open cafe .
It`s nicely decorated with comfy chairs and beautiful waiters and waitresses .
As we waited for our meals , Chi-chan finally opens her mouth .
"Actually , there is a reason why i asked you out ." she said without looking at me .
"What is it ? Whats wrong ?" I asked .
"Well , i like someone .." She paused for awhile . "..Shin`chi takahashi ."
I blinked . But i wasn`t surprised at all . With Shin`chi`s looks , i`m sure every girl was in love with him . But why is she telling me this ?
"Why are you telling me this ?" I asked , curiously .
"Apparently you and Shin`chi are really close , so i want to ask a favor from you . " She said . "Could you help me ask Shin`chi to go on a date with me ?"
I looked . This wasn`t going to be easy . Shin`chi doesn`t seem to be the type that goes for girls . But Chi-chan is my best friend , and i can`t refuse her .
So i agreed with a smile , to help her go on a date with Chi-chan .
-Next day in school-
"Hey Shin`chi !" I called out , as he entered class .
With the same old stare he replied "What ?" .
"Can you do me a favor ?" I said softly , with the kindest voice i could find in me .
Obviously realizing something , he replied "What favor ?"
"You know Chi-chan right ? Apparently she likes you and she was wondering if you would --"
"Go on a date with her ?" Shin`chi interrupted .
"Ermm , yeah ." I answered .
Why was i so scared ? It wasn`t as if i`m the one going on the date with him . I` helping Chi-chan , helping Chi-chan .
"No ." Shin`chi said with no hesitation .
Feeling kind of crushed , i replied "Ohh .. okay . I`ll tell her that . Sorry ."
Oh no , how am i suppose to tell Chi-chan now ..
After a long while later , Shin`chi sighed loudly . Without looking at me he asked "Fine . I`ll go . When ?"
Relieved , i answered happily "Is next Sunday alright with you ?"
Took about 5 seconds for him to reply , and he said looking at me "Yeah ."
Even though i`m happy that Shin`chi agreed to go on a date with Chi-chan , something inside me died . Why ... ?

Waterdrops from the sky Chapter 6 ...
Is this real ? What i have just heard ? Tell me he isn`t joking ...

"hey , i`m sorry ." Toharu apologized .
"what for ?" I replied .
"Being so rough on your friend ," he turned to me . "And about what i said just now . It was only to piss him off ."
Piss him off ? Oh , so it wasn`t real . hahaha , should`ve known ..
"Ohh that ? Nahhh , its alright ! he deserved it anyways !" I smiled at him .
I`m going to try to talk some sense into Shin`chi tomorrow .
-Next day-
"Hey ! Shin`chi ! Wait !" I called out .
Shin`chi stopped and turned to look at me . He gave me his normal everyday , cold stare .
I took a breath before i could say something .
"You okay yesterday ?" I asked .
"If you think a pathetic slap from you could kill , think again ." Shin`chi replied coldly .
From that reply , i knew Shin`chi was fine . We went back to class together , as if everything that happened yesterday was nothing .
But because of my stubborness , i had to do it again .
I made Shin`chi and Toharu meet again , this time at my house .
The silence is deafening .
"Would you mind telling me why am i here sitting opposite of Toharu in your room , when you said you needed help with homework ?" Said Shin`chi , pissed .
"Yeahh , i thought you told me to come over to help you with homework ." Toharu added .
Slightly guilt-stricken , i replied " I thought it would be much better if both of you could help me . hahaha " .
Both Toharu and Shin`chi realised how much effort Mizuki is trying to get them to like each other , even though they hate each others guts ( idk why ) , they tried to get along .
Soon , the awkward silence disappeared and all three of them had quite a good time .
When evening reached ,
it was time for Toharu and Shin`chi to leave .
"Okay , reach home safely ! See you guys tomorrow !" I shouted cheerfully .
Toharu said "Mmm" with a nod while Shin`chi continued walking home .
On the way back , before they separated their ways home , Shin`chi asked " hey , about yesterday , were you serious ?"
Surprised , Toharu answered " yeah . I was . " .
" I see . Well , thats some real "nice" taste you`ve got " Shin`chi said and left .
It might not be obvious to others but it was very obvious to Toharu . The fact that Shin`chi was jealous of Toharu ...

Waterdrops from the Sky Chapter 5 ...
I was too naive . So naive that i thought Shin`chi and Toharu could be good friends . Ohh , how i was wrong ...

Wha -- what is with this tense feeling in the air .. Me , Shin`chi and Toharu are at the rooftop having lunch , but now it is as if it`s a staring contest .
"Ermm , you know , you guys can loosen up a little . ahahahh ... " I said , but with no avail .
Toharu saw that i was in a tough spot , so he loosened a little and said , " Well, *cough* its nice to meet you Shin`chi ."
He stretched him hand towards Shin`chi .
As expected , Shin`chi gave a no reply but a cold stare .
I couldn`t hold it in anymore , i snapped .
"SHIN`CHI , YOU`RE RUDE ! ALL HE WANTED WAS TO SHAKE YOUR HAND . DON`T YOU EVEN HAVE THE SLIGHTEST COURTESY TO RESPOND ?" I flared up .
Pissed , Shin`chi came close to me and said in my face , " Rude ? Fine . You want a respond ? Sure . " He then turned to Toharu and said , " I don`t like you . "
*Pckk!!*
Unexpectedly , i slapped Shin`chi in anger .
Without a word , Shin`chi left . But before Shin`chi could leave , Toharu stopped him .
" Apologize . " He said , firmly .
"What for ? i was the one that got slapped ." Shin`chi replied without facing him .
" You know what , if you`re going to continue like this , you won`t get her ." Toharu whispered to Shin`Chi .
"Hmpf ." Shin`chi shrugged Toharu`s hands away from him , but just as he opened the door , Toharu shouted .
" I`M GOING TO WOO MIZUKI YAMAMOTO . " Shin`chi halted for a second , and left .
As for me who had no idea what was going on , stood there stunned after what i have just heard ...

Waterdrops from the sky Chapter 4 ...
Just when i thought yesterday wasn`t embarrassing enough, i guess now would probably be the most awkward thing that will ever happen to me. Because I`m in school and there`s a person standing before me. And that is Toharu, the guy i pushed at the Music store yesterday ...

"Ahh! I-I`m sorry for yesterday!!" I blurted out immediately, and bowed, when Toharu saw me.
"Eh?!" Toharu replied in shock. "You don`t need to apologize! It was my fault for leaning on you!"
I looked up at him. I just can`t stand how cute his face looked. Every time i see it i start to blush.
"Well, at least let me treat you to lunch." I said.
Giving up, Toharu smiled and nodded his head.
During lunch, i had quite a fun time chatting with him. I realised his family had just moved in, starting a business in a Music store while Toharu came to Fugoki High to study. And just like that, Toharu and I became best of friends.
*Ring*
"We`d better get back to class" I told him.
We rushed back to class immediately. When i sat, a voice went through my ears, "Where did you go?"
I was startled a little but then realized it was Shin`chi. Wait, i thought he didn`t come to school. I didn`t see him the whole morning.
"Where have you been the whole morning?" i asked him.
He gave me a long silence before answering, "Infirmary. Didn`t feel well just now."
"oh.."
Then i told Shin`chi about Toharu. How i met him and the coincidence that he is studying in this school too.
"Maybe you`d like to meet him." I said with a grin on my face.
"sure."
I realized Shin`chi doesn`t talk much. Is he trying to be cool? Or, does he hate me?
"Shin`chi."
"Hmm?"
"Do you hate me?" Out of nowhere i blurted it out.
Shin`chi looked surprised. I really should not have said that. I began blushing. However, i do want to know his answer. Shin`chi then turned to face another direction. I felt disappointed. Maybe he does hate me..
"No." Wait? What did i just hear ?
"W-what did you say?" I tried to reassure myself.
"I don`t hate you." Shin`chi said still without facing me. But for some reason. i felt happy.
So happy i think could just cry.
"Okay! Then i`ll bring you to meet Toharu after school then! " I said cheerfully.
I was thrilled that they could now meet each other and make friends.. But i guess i was wrong...

Ahh! I can`t believe i just cried in front of him! How stupid am i!
Of course i know he wouldn`t be the one. I`d remember how`d he`d look like.
Well maybe.. Wait.. it is a little sketchy.. AH! WHO CARES!!

I should forget about what happened just now. I was just too lost. Yeah! lost. haha.. hahaha.
He`d probably forget about tomorrow! ahahaha... haha...ha. i hope. if not, it will be too awkward to even see him. Sighh. i`m so stupid.
Suddenly, i got extremely hyped up. i see a ..
MUSIC STORE right in FRONT of me !! (newly opened)!!
I must see whats in it !
The shop isn`t very large but it feels very homely in here. The prices here are quite affordable compared to higher classed one. I`m so happy this store was opened!!
"Excuse me, Miss," Out came a beautiful lady smiling."May i help you with anything?"
She just looked so beautiful i can`t help but feel embarrassed looking at her. " erm.. do you have any piano on display here?"
"hmm.. well, it`s not exactly on display. But i think i can show it to you. follow me." She said with sweet smile, leading me to a door at the back.
I couldn`t catch my breath. The Grand piano that was shown right before my eyes had blown me away. I`ve never seen one like this in my life before.
"You could try it out if you`d like to" She kindly said.
"r-really?! Thank you!!" I thanked her.
..♫ ♪♫ ♪♫ ♪♫ ♪♫ ♪♫ ♪♫ ♪..
Ahh.. It didn`t sound as great as i thought it was. I guess i`m not used to a Grand Piano.. It`s so hard to put in the emotions..
Suddenly, out of nowhere, a pair of arms came around me and hit the keys. I could feel the person leaning on my back. wait? he`s on me? HE IS ON ME!
"Excuse me?!" I exclaimed, pushing him away from me.
From what i see, it was a tall, black haired boy that leaned on me. He is rather cute. but i don`t care. How could he just lean on me? I`m FURIOUS.
"Ahh! I`m sorry if i startled you! I just thought you might need some help playing that piano! I`m very sorry!" He apologized with the cutest face expression i`ve ever seen by any guy in my life. I immediately forgave him.
"ahh.. I-it`s alright. I`m sorry for shouting at you" I flushed.
"Toharu!" said the shopkeeper as she walked in.
"Hi big sis." Replied Toharu.
Ohh. So he is her little brother. Crap! i shouldn`t have pushed him!
"I-i`m sorry! I was rude! I should really leave! i`m sorry!" I immediately took my bag and rushed out of the shop despite the both of them trying to stop me.
Although i thought it was just a small moment of embarrassment done by me, the huge embarrassment was the next day that came by...

( Next day in homeroom )
"H-hey Shin`chi !" I greeted him trying to forget about his rudeness yesterday.
And again, he gave me long stare..
"Hi." He replied.
"Ermm.. Do you want me to show you around today? I promise it won`t be boring!!"
I asked.
After very long thoughts, he finally replied, "Okay."
For some odd reason, even though i still hate him.
When he agreed, a part of me melted.
what is this..?
After lunch, i showed him around.
"This is the Hall way, Lecture room..." I explained.
"Mizuk--"
"This is the canteen, an--"
"MIZUKI!"
I was completely startled. O.o"
I apologized.
"Bring me to the Music room." Shin`chi said, as his starry eyes stared straight into mine.
I couldn`t help myself but blush.
"Hmm.. students aren`t really allowed to enter here without permission, but i guess it`s alright for you." I said to him as we walked into the empty Music Room.
Then i realised, he became completely silent. He just stood in front of the piano, staring as if it was gold.
Out of the blue, he began playing the piano, saying, "the piano, the best instrument ever created by mankind."
..♫ ♪♫ ♪♫ ♪♫ ♪♫ ♪♫ ♪♫ ♪..
My heart went into a halt. I-it`s beautiful. His hands. The swiftness, fluency. Such technique. I`m completely stunned.
I thought to myself ,
"He loves the piano too? C-could it be...? M-maybe it`s him..
Yeah.. there might be a possibility.." I stretched out my hand to touch him. Then i stopped. "No.. it can`t be.. He`ll never return.. no matter what, or how long i wait.. he`ll never come back...."
Just as i knew it, my face was covered in tears.
Shin`chi stopped playing and saw me.
"Y-you alright..?"
"Y-yeah! I`m fine! haha. Don`t worry about me!"
"But--"
"Y-you know what? we`ll continue this tomorrow okay? i`m sorry!" I said as i ran out of the room.
I can`t bear this pain.. everything, everyone, will remind me of him.. I just wish it`ll stop....

My name is Mizuki Yamamoto.
I study in Fugoki High. Year 2b.
I have an unforgettable childhood memory which haunts me every single day ...
"Mizuki-Chan !"
I turned around , it was my classmate, Chi-Chan.
"Let`s go to homeroom together !" Said Chi-Chan, gleefully.
"Okay." I replied.
*Rang*
"We`d better hurry !" Chi-Chan exclaimed as we rushed to homeroom.
"Okay settle down. Before i start homeroom today, i`d like to introduce a new student,"
said Fujioki-Sensei."Shin`chi Takahashi."
Stood beside Fujioki-Sensei was a brownish-red haired boy with killer eyes that can practically make anyone melt.
The girls in the class squealed.
"Okay Shin`chi, take the empty seat beside Yamamoto-san," explained Fujioki-Sensei."Oh, and Yamamoto, please show Shin`chi around when you`re free."
"Okay." I replied.
Time past by like the wind and before i knew it, it was lunch-time.
I took a look at Shin`chi-Kun beside him. He is absolutely hot.
No wonder the girls were so disappointed when he was appointed next to my seat.
"Erm, Shin`chi-kun, do you want me to show you around?" I asked him sincerely.
Shin`chi gave me a long stare and replied saying, "No need. I`m fine without you."
When i heard that, a part of me snapped.
JUST WHO DOES HE THINKS HE IS?! ROYALTY?!
I thought to myself as i stormed across the hallway. I was so furious, the students around me were completely oblivious to me.
HE COULD`VE SAY "No thank you" OR "Yeah sure ^^" LIKE A NORMAL PERSON WOULD! BUT NO !! HE JUST HAD TO BE RUDE !!
Just then, i stopped.
I took a deep breath in then out.
I have to relax. I am always so irritated to easily.
Ah. I know just the thing to cease my irritation.
Ahh .. The crimson red carpet, Brown wallpaper, good quality curtains, and not to mention, the piano that stood in the middle of the music room.
I can smell the air of calmness in here.
Being here always calms me down.
And what`s better to calm a person than to play the piano...

Mmm... I just love the piano. It sooths my soul...

Crap! Students aren`t allowed in here without permission!

I immediately pulled away the curtain. But the room was empty. It was as if,
